Sunprints are an attempt to unite heaven and earth, creating infinitudes on small pieces of paper. Created in an open field under the sun, these cyanotypes are collages of particulate and organic matter – dirt, sand, pepper, roots, pollen, with filmic elements. They speak to a fascination with early photography, the rayographs by Man Ray, botanical images by Anna Atkins and architectural blueprints of the past.
